Mind-Body Fitness: Tai Chi, Qigong, MELT & more

Tuesdays & Thursdays @ Greenwood Senior Center, 325 N 85th St.
9 – 10 am
Improve body awareness, cultivate efficient breathing, wake your senses from head to hands to feet, achieve peace of mind, strengthen the body and move with ease! This class practices specific techniques from meditation, the MELT method, Qigong and Tai Chi to boost vitality and support a vibrant, active life. All are welcome! Fees pro-rated for a mid-session start.

Summer Session:
June 20 – August 24, $200 2x/week, $150 1x/week
Fall Session:
September 5 – December 14, $300 2x/week, $225 1x/week

MELT Method: Less Pain, More Resilience

The MELT Method is a simple self-care treatment using soft balls and a soft body roller to reduce the negative effects of aging and an active life. MELT helps restore fluidity, flexibility and relieves pain by reducing connective tissue dehydration. You’ll learn to easily support your own resilience, reduce pain & prevent pain, improve athletic performance and reduce recovery time—for all ages & fitness levels.
